We run Meta ads and landing pages for Frøyd, an aesthetic clinic in Norway, and Meta for a dental clinic in England. Here is how we set up ads for a clinic, what is different for dentists and physiotherapists, and what you are not allowed to say.

Real ads we have made for our clients

Clinics have high-value treatments with low search volume, and rules about what they can promise. That’s why the choice of channel and the landing page matter more than the budget.
“Tannlege Skien” (dentist Skien) and “tannregulering pris” (orthodontics price) are searched every day, and Google handles that. Skin boosters, PDRN and microneedling have to be shown to the right people before they search. Meta does that, with video of the practitioner and the treatment.
Don’t send the patient to the homepage. One page per treatment with what it is, what it costs or what the booking fee is, who performs it, and a booking form. For Frøyd, microneedling and PDRN skin booster each have their own page.
We set up a conversion on completed bookings and count forms and phone calls separately. That way you know what a new patient costs, and Google and Meta optimize toward real bookings.
Clinics win on trust. Short videos where the practitioner explains the treatment work better than a polished commercial. We write the script, edit, and make new variations every week.
Advertising for health services must be responsible, sober and factual (Section 13 of the Norwegian Health Personnel Act). No promised results, no before/after images, the correct title for the practitioner, and “free” only when it is free.
A time-limited offer on one treatment, with the regular price and the promotional price side by side. It fills the calendar without you having to lower prices across your whole treatment menu.
For Frøyd, we run the Meta ads and built the landing pages. Each treatment has its own page, and the form passes along which treatment the inquiry is about. The leads go straight into the clinic’s own sheet, so we can see what an inquiry costs per treatment.
Every week we compare the leads in the clinic’s sheet with what Meta reports, because tracking on a treatment page can stop counting without anyone noticing, and then Meta is optimizing blind.
We also run Meta for Marlow Dental, a dental clinic in England.

Hi, Victor here. The clinics we run ads for today are Frøyd in Norway and a dental clinic in England. We haven’t worked with Norwegian dental clinics or physiotherapists yet. What you read about them below is how I would set it up, not numbers we have.
Send us your website and we’ll put together a concrete proposal for ads and a landing page for the clinic, the way it would look with your brand. You’ll get it by email within a couple of days, and it’s yours to keep either way.
Send us your website →The searches we would build the account around: “tannlege [by]” (dentist [city]), “akutt tannlege” (emergency dentist), “tannbleking pris” (teeth whitening price), “implantat pris” (implant price), “tannregulering voksne” (adult orthodontics). “Tannlege [by]” is the most general search, and often where competition is fiercest. The treatment searches are more specific and tell you what the patient needs, so they deserve their own ad groups with their own page.
A page that says “Implant from NOK 18,900, performed by [name], 15 minutes from the city center, book here” answers what the patient is wondering: what it costs, who does it and where you are. A general clinic page answers none of that. The price is just an example, use your own.
An implant at NOK 25,000 with a NOK 10,000 contribution margin, where one in three inquiries becomes a booking, makes an inquiry worth around NOK 3,300. In theory, that’s how much you can pay and break even. We set the target well below that, and bid higher on implants and orthodontics than on “tannlege [by]”.
The patient is in pain right now and searches “fysioterapeut [by]” (physiotherapist [city]), “kiropraktor nær meg” (chiropractor near me) or “fysioterapi uten henvisning” (physiotherapy without referral). Many don’t know they can go straight to a physiotherapist without seeing a doctor first. If the ad and the page say “no referral needed”, you answer the question before they get to ask it.
The other thing the patient wonders about is price, and here the municipal operating grant decides it. With an operating agreement with the municipality, the patient pays a co-payment. Without one, they pay full price. State both clearly, or the patient gets unsure and doesn’t book.
The complaints are searches of their own: “vondt i ryggen behandling” (back pain treatment), “nakkesmerter” (neck pain), “naprapat [by]” (naprapath [city]). We would put them in their own ad groups with a page that answers exactly that complaint, so you can see what they cost compared with searches for the profession.
A course of five sessions at NOK 650 each brings in NOK 3,250 in revenue. With a 60% contribution margin and every other booking becoming a patient, an inquiry is worth around NOK 975. That’s much less than for a dental clinic, so the account has to be tighter: a short radius around the clinic, ads when you can take bookings, and online booking that shows open slots.
After launch we go through the search terms every week, move budget to where bookings are cheapest, and you get a report every Monday with what you spent and what you got.
More industries: marketing for service businesses. What a lead costs in the industries we work in: the numbers from our accounts.
The numbers come from our clients’ own ad accounts.
